General information about the department

Anatomy department has got a well equipped histology lab, dissection hall, demonstration rooms, departmental library, museum and a research lab. Competency based medical education has been imparted as per NMC norms. The department trains all the students in all subdivisions of anatomy (histology, embryology, radiology, osteology, neuroanatomy, genetics, radiologic anatomy) and also provides training in early clinical exposure and self directed learning methods.

Apart From Teaching M.B.B.S. I Year Students The Department Also Provides Teaching To B.Sc Nursing, Allied Health Sciences and also to Paramedical Students

 Body Donation- Body donation awareness is created through social media to erase the social stigma associated with body donation among different sections of community. Body donation registration is encouraged.

 Voluntary Body Donation Registry: People who are willing to donate body voluntarily for science & medical education is accepted with gratitude, which helps the medical students, learn the anatomy of human body & its variations for the application at clinic.
